Long-standing Purplex Client Vista Panels Announces MD Retirement
Keith Sadler, Managing Director of Vista Panels and long-standing Purplex client, has announced his retirement after 30 years with the composite door manufacturer.
During his time at Vista, Keith led the company through multiple successful acquisitions and significant expansion, with turnover growing from £14m to £30m during their eleven-year partnership with Purplex.
Starting his career in the fenestration industry in 1989, Keith joined Vista in 1994, working his way through the ranks to become Managing Director. He went on to acquire the business with two colleagues before overseeing its sale to Corpacq and subsequently to Eurocell plc, where Vista has continued to thrive as a leading manufacturer of composite doors and PVCu panels.
Announcing his retirement on LinkedIn, Keith reflected on his journey: “I leave Vista (my baby) as the leading Panel and Composite door company in the UK, something I am immensely proud of. What I’ve learned over the last 35 years is that you need to treat staff, customers and suppliers the way you would want to be treated, and always have a plan A, B and C as life rarely goes to plan.”
Purplex MD and founder, Andrew Scott, commented: “Keith is one of the most inspiring business leaders I’ve worked with in our industry. He has consistently demonstrated how clear vision and strong leadership can drive remarkable growth. Our partnership with Vista, which began in 2013, has included several milestone projects, including the launch of their premium XtremeDoor brand, and it’s been a privilege to be part of their success story.”
Vista continues under new leadership, with Mike Bratt taking over as Managing Director, supported by an experienced senior leadership team of Chris Burrows, Peter Trowman, Ian Fawthrop, Pip Anger and Ian Smith.
“We wish Keith all the best in his retirement and look forward to supporting Vista’s continued success in the future,” added Andrew Scott.
