Purplex clients celebrate nominations for prestigious awards
We would like to send congratulations to several of our clients following nominations for a series of major awards.
No less than six of our partnered firms have been nominated in various categories at the 2024 G-Awards, one of the glass and glazing industry’s prestigious awards events, being held in London on November 29.
This year’s G-Awards nominees include Liverpool-based uPVC and aluminium fabricators Warwick North West, in the running for Fabricator of the Year, and both timber window firm Bereco and Manchester-based installers Droylsden competing to become Installer of the Year.
West Wales-based sash windows manufacturer Victorian Sliders is up for two awards, Sustainability Initiative of the Year, and for the company’s senior supply chain and logistics manager Ben Jones, a nomination for Rising Star.
The nomination for Component Supplier of the Year goes to Window Ware, a Bedford-based leading supplier of brand hardware, tools and consumables to the glazing industry.
Last but by no means least, the Training & Development Initiative of the Year nominations include Shelforce, the Birmingham windows and doors manufacturer that has inclusivity at the heart of its operations.
Event organisers have pointed to a huge range of high-quality entries, giving judges the unenviable task of picking nominees and winners amid much innovation and inspiration.
The winners will be announced at the champagne reception and Gala dinner at the luxury Park Lane Hilton hotel. The G-Awards have been running for 20 years – the same length of time that we have been in operation – and are dedicated to rewarding innovation and exceptional performance from the best companies and individuals in the UK glazing and glass market.
Purplex founder and MD Andrew Scott said: “As ever, we look forward with excitement to see which of our clients have been nominated in the G-Awards and this year is no exception.
“Having worked closely with these clients for many years, we’ve been privileged to support and witness their remarkable journeys. Their success is a testament to their hard work and commitment to pushing the boundaries in the glazing industry.
“Fingers crossed for everyone at the upcoming G-Awards ceremony. May the best in glass win!”
