Our team researched the market and identified a collection of Instagram influencers with a strong following in the premium home improvements niche. We reached out to them individually and set up the event at the Ridgeview Wine Estate, tailoring the day in a way which maximised the potential for content creation opportunities.
Caribbean Blinds were consulted on the delivery of the event, and turned up to demonstrate their products in action. The influencers were asked to post about their positive perceptions of the shading solution alongside their experience touring the vineyard. An alfresco meal was provided inside the Deluxe Outdoor Living Pod™ for the influencers, and this meal doubled-up as set dressing – showcasing the potential of these products.
The event attracted a lot of attention on social media, driving a huge increase in followers for Caribbean Blinds’ Instagram account – up 50x on its average daily gains. The individual influencers’ posts had a reach of over 135,000 on Instagram alone. But, crucially, this social media awareness also translated into leads, with the website seeing a big spike in traffic, with 3.5x more users visiting on the day of the event compared to an average day that month, and this spike in traffic sustained over several further days.
